Can you describe the Boomi AtomSphere iPaaS?
The Boomi AtomSphere integration platform as a service (iPaaS) supports all your application integration processes – between cloud applications, SaaS applications, and on-premises systems. Your entire team has online access to a powerful range of integration and data management capabilities, that can be implemented in a fraction of the time of legacy middleware technologies.
How long does it take to implement Boomi AtomSphere?
For a connection between two end points and using one of the many standard connectors (e.g. SAP, Salesforce.com, NetSuite, Zendesk) implementation can take as little as 2 weeks. For more extensive and complex integrations it will of course take longer. Many Boomi users start with one integration then may grow the number to hundreds of automated processes over time.
Our organization is reluctant to run Boomi AtomSphere in the cloud/outside the firewall. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Though Boomi is a cloud-based solution, the Atom, or run-time agent, which executes the data transfers, can run in the cloud or behind the firewall. So Boomi is capable of integrating data between systems on premise to on premise, cloud to cloud, or on premise to cloud.
How many standard connectors are there and are more being created?
There are over 100 standard or branded connectors covering the major cloud and software offerings and the list is expanding all the time.
What happens if Boomi doesn’t have a standard connector already built?
If a branded connector does not exist, Boomi can connect via an existing published API. This makes the possibilities for application and data integration quite extensive.
Is Support available from Boomi during development?
With Menlo’s close partnership with , we can obtain help from the traditional support angles, but also from the Boomi sales engineers and from partner portals that are not available to end clients. So essentially, you get better support when you work with a technology partner like Menlo.
